This morning, The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party is holding a hearing titled "Rebuilding the Arsenal of Democracy: The Imperative to Strengthen America’s Defense Industrial Base and Workforce" in room 2176 Rayburn House Office Building.
On Wednesday October 16th 2024, Chairman John Moolenaar of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party delivered video remarks to the Global Taiwan Institute's Annual Symposium in Washington D.C.
The Global Taiwan Institute convened a high-level panel to discuss the longevity and elasticity of the Taiwan Relations Act in an increasingly volatile strategic environment.
Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI), Chairman of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party wrote to Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, recommending innovative solutions to counter Xi Jinping's historic military build up and threats to Taiwan. Xi Jinping has ordered the Chinese military to be ready for an invasion by 2027.
