ICYMI: Moolenaar & Krishnamoorthi Join Fox News' Special Report in First Joint Interview

WASHINGTON DC — In case you missed it, Chairman John Moolenaar (R-MI) and Ranking Member Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party joined Fox News' Special Report with Bret Baier last night in the committee leaders' first joint interview.
Watch the lawmakers' full interview HERE and read key moments below:
Moolenaar on the threat of the Chinese Communist Party:
"You have to realize China is undergoing a massive arms buildup. They are subsidizing the fentanyl that's coming across and killing American citizens. They're spying. They're doing all sorts of nefarious activities. The Chinese Communist Party is directly responsible for this. So whereas we love the Chinese people, we want a good relationship with all nations. But this cannot continue."
Moolenaar on the Select Committee's Fentanyl Report:
"When President Biden met with President Xi, they talked about fentanyl and President Xi said that they wanted to cooperate. In [our committee's report], we learned that they're incentivizing the production of fentanyl precursors that are going to Mexico and coming across our southern border. It's not simply an organized crime problem. It's not simply that [the CCP is] turning a blind eye. They're actually subsidizing the death that's occurring, over 100,000 Americans a year. And this is simply not acceptable. It should be front and center with these discussions, or we cannot accept that Xi Jinping is trying to collaborate and work on this problem. He needs to show concrete actions."
